You'll need a valid ID document (passport, national ID, or driver's licence) and a working phone number. The process takes about 3 minutes. No bank account is required to open the wallet — you can fund it later via bank transfer, card, or mobile money.
Step by step
1. Download the app
CitizenWealth is available on iOS and Android. Search "CitizenWealth" in your app store, or visit citizenwealth.app/download.
2. Verify your identity
Upload a photo of your ID and take a quick selfie. Our KYC provider verifies you in under 60 seconds in most cases. We support passports and national IDs from 45+ countries.
3. Activate your currencies
Once verified, you'll see your wallet dashboard. Tap "Add Currency" to activate any of the five supported currencies:

Choose your preferred funding method. Bank transfer is free. Card deposits carry a 1.5% processing fee. Mobile money is available in select markets.
5. You're live
Your wallet is ready. You can now hold, convert, send, and receive across all five currencies.
